BHRL070 DOB 3/18/01 BW 90; WW 650; YW n/a; Mature weight 1500. Smooth polled full fleckvieh fullblood female. The sire is Grinalta’s Gridiron and the dam is Lady Karoo. Karoo is a South African female that is out of the same litter as Lady Tugela, the dam of Natural. We purchased Maiden as a mature cow from Four Starr Simmental, Greg Starr. Greg produced a number of offspring from her sired by Neff line bulls.

We liked the cow because of her put together and pedigree. We wanted the performance that comes from the dam’s side of the pedigree and will probably do some line breeding to emphasize this. We also wanted the color pattern as well as the polled feature. This female gives us some genetics that are an outcross to our polled program.
