YCR627W Homozygous polled Full Fleckvieh Fullblood bull. Aptly named Eraser because he will genetically remove all horns.
As shown in the picture, he is solid red with a triangle on his forehead. He has a moderate frame with lots of capacity and muscling. Docile temperament. He is sired by Yankee Enterprise out of Yankee Ester, who is sired by Exodus. Ester isn’t the usual Exodus offspring because she is out of Yankee Natalie, a full sibling to Yankee Nitro. The performance genetics of the Nitro line and Yankee Enterprise are expected to carry through to the offspring of Eraser.
Yankee Natalie looks just like her dam, Lucy. Both Lucy and Natalie are both very similar in appearance except that Natalie is a darker red and is expected to weigh more at maturity.
We will test breed Eraser in the spring of 2010 to a group of horned females to determine how well he produces.
